Sys ID in Search vs Sys ID in Analyse

My cap+ system isn't showing system ID it does show site id however and that's accurate ...

Checking nxdn 9600
2 systems

UBET system is sys ID 66 on search
On analyze it says sys ID 00042h

Peak wireless is system ID 64 on search
On analyze it's 00040h
Site IDs on both are correct just not the system IDs...

The numeric value is the same and correct in all cases. The only thing different is the display formatting. 64 decimal is 40 hexadecimal.

Well, a SID of "1" (through 9) is the exception, although the h indicates hex display there, too.

Yes tier 3 is different on dsd plus than Uniden does. Questar Dominion is 1.3 1.8

I have not analyzed tier III yet , let me try...

So far ... Only site info. No sys ID on one site,

Only site ID on the 2nd site too no other info, and no activity at the moment, Friday evening

So T3 isn't showing info on the system at the moment just site#

I just heard back from Uniden. System Status is fixed hex, and Custom Search is fixed decimal. (fixed meaning set to that in firmware and cannot be changed)

I thanked them and suggested that perhaps it could be changed to be a user option that follows the setting, as it is confusing to have multiple formats.

I believe the rest is up to UPMan.

In the mean time, or if this is not changed, just understand that one is decimal and the other is hex (hex has the h at the end). Your PC has a calculator which will switch between the two.

You're welcome and I did. There is a lot on their plate right now, but then again look at all the x36 updates. I would not have existed those with the work on the SDS.

1.18.00 is out but no update to this issue, so I mentioned it in the 1.18.00 thread so he could at least see it, right after he started the v18 thread..

As I stated previously, this is working as designed. I would not expect a user option to be added so quickly (if ever).
