No problem Mike, it was just a suggestion. Too bad people on the Quebec side don't show as much interest. From what little I decoded, TG 1001 with RIDs 3xxx is police, encrypted. However there is clear speech for other users; fire and public works I believe, by interpreting some of the radio names.

Well did not have any results with 154.515....then when I came home I realized I had it connected to a UHF antenna. Will try again tomorrow.

Yes where is everybody? I have more time for this sort of thing now and it is fun with the amazing software available..

154.355 is definitely Site 4 VC, RAN=4.

169.800 shows RAN=1. No voice heard, may be input to to CC.

Found N48 activity on 158.490, no further detail but not listed
on IC database as a commercial channel anywhere nearby.

Looks like 158.490 is part of the system, input probably. By chance did you get a RAN for this one?

Trying to figure out the radio names, some appear based on location (VDM = Val-des-Monts, AG = (L')Ange-Gardien, etc.)

Nothing so far on 152.7500

Mr. DaveH:

Have been keeping an eye on on 152.750 but nothing so far.

Not a lot that is new to report from my end of things.

Looking forward to winter listening with the bad weather etc.

However, I do enjoy searching for new signals. Good technical hobby..

154.355 is confirmed Site 4, channel 16, now only Channel 15 is not known.

Still no activtity seen on Site 7, and it appears to be neighbours to Site 1 and 2.

Not to be confused with this system, 153.545 has conventional N48 activity up in Denholm; logged some today. RAN=3. Not sure if it's fire or public works. One radio identifier was LAC STEMARIE.

Trying to monitor nxdn with my new TRX-1 in the Gatineau Hills. So far, no luck.
Loaded the radio reference data for nxdn nexedge 4800-MRC des Collines.
The frequencies are active because we get a good signal burst when listening in analog but the TRX-1 does not decode the audio. Would like to monitor the fire dept and public works even if the police is encrypted. Does anybody have any active nxdn frequencies to share in the Ottawa/Hull area.

BTW Site 2, 2nd channel (6) is 152.9825. All comms appear encrypted, fire included.

Try this Nexedge 4.8k system if you can hear it:

152.105 CC
153.155 VC
153.485 VC
154.415 VC

Hello Mike and Dave,

Mike, We programmed the frequencies for sites 1,2,3 that you gave us. Monitored for 2 Days, both at the base and mobile. Used to monitor the MRC Police no problem on Analog we have good reception. This is not a signal problem. Nothing heard so far with the new frequencies so we will roll back to the site 3 frequencies that are posted on the data base since we were getting a busy tone signal on site 3, 301, 911 .

Dave,

We programmed the frequencies you gave us by creating a new system in NXDN but we are not able to create a new scan list to access this new system. We are new to this TRX-1 System and will eventually master it.

Thanks for the info and if you want me to test more give me more NXDN stuff. It would be great if we can confirm that the TRX-1 is NXDN capable.

Regards,

John

Yes I can here it where I am not very strong but well enough to decode.

I have an LTR on 153.485 most likely from the USA

I am running out of things to search for.

I'm still hearing fire activity in the Pontiac (Luskville, Quyon) on 410.9625 analog repeater, but they mentioned the "new radio system" for dispatch; sounds like a phase-in period.
