getting an .hpe to zip and load is not working out for me tonite. . Been building favorites list most of the day and I'm fried...

I guess essentially I am trying to merge two departments so they become one system. SKYWARN listings from two neighboring counties when appended show up as two systems, and I really want them to be one, in two departments. I've gone back thru a couple of online courses to no avail.

thanks much...

In Sentinel, make your first system, with a department of the channels you want.

For your separate system (if it is in the same Favorites list), just open up the department & copy all of the channels to the clipboard.

Then, go back to your first system, & add a blank Department.

Add a blank line in the new department

Click on just the name field (if you select too many fields, Sentinel may give you an error that you can't paste your data).

Paste the channels you copied to the clipboard into the newly created department.

You cannot specify a system (or department) when appending from the main database. However, as long as your individual appends end up in the same list, then you can use the Favorites Editor to consolidate.

Note that, in ProScan, you can simply drag & drop channels or departments between systems.
