t-uhf antenna

I just bought a Laird magnet mount antenna with holder / screw on top to magnet.. It's 22 inches long, and according to the chart,basic 450-460 is 5 1/2 inches. Give or take 1/16 of an inch..There is no mention of the 470--490 range.. Anyone know the length desired? Thx

5.85 is for a center freq of 480 If your just using it for scanning 6 in is fine..
