Hey guys,

I am trying to run T4Win on my XP machine for the first time using my sound card...I have it all set up and it appears to be decoding the CC as I can see the waveform moving... however, it says "Decoding Rate Motorola 0.0" Also, Sometimes it will bounce between LTR and MPT1327...

I get a 97-99% decode rate on the CC when I run it on my pro-96...Any thoughts on what I could be doing wrong?

PS- I have serached the threads and can't find a simular problem :D

If you can see a good square waveform, the soundcard input is right. Try the "Invert" function (you have to shut off decoding temporarily to click the box).

If that doesn't do it, try adjusting the volume of your radio and/or the sound card input (Settings>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>Audio>Sound Recording, at least in Classic view). I've noticed if I have the radio or the sound card input too loud, the program stops working. I think my soundcard input is as low as it goes without cutting it off.

You should get 100 percent or very close to it. At 40% you may have one of two problems. Either the radio is not receiving the signal well, or the connection from your discriminator tap point to your sound card is noisy. I had both problems, and once I re-did the tap, and put an external antenna on the radio, I got 100%.
