I am scanning one of the towers of the Bell Fleetnet (Canada) system. Now I know the base frequency/offset/spacing for the system but my question is how do I found out the frequency that co-responds to the channel number. I tried using VHF/UHF Calculator but it doesn't do anything. Any suggestions or can anymore help me here?

Um, T4Win does not do VHF/UHF systems well, that code was never finished. You are lucky it even is decoding anything. Might I recommend that you run the MTrunker32 software, which takes a MAP file (just to set the base/spacing/offset) and then reports the frequencies as normal and is also fed from the sound card. The link for download is here in the fourm, back a little bit.

Hi Matt,

As Lou points out, T4Win has trouble with the input frequencies on VHF/UHF control channels. On trick for filling out channels in the display is to hand edit two and use the Extrapolate tool to fill out the rest. If there are two or more sets of base/offset/spacing numbers, you'll want to set the frequency of each first and last channel within a table.

The VHF/UHF problems - along with a lot of other problems - have been fixed but I've still got some clean-up to do over the coming weekend for a public beta release of UniTrunker. A rewrite of T4Win will occur at some point after UniTrunker has achieved proven stability.
