Tablet Car Mount - Streaming EMS Stuff

Hi Guys. I've installed a scanner in the car dash but also like to monitor the paramedic and police feeds that are streamed through an internet connection and online app. Having those apps just expands what I can follow in a clean way.

So I built a dash bracket to hold a tablet. The project is still being tweaked and I have a few ideas to have the top of the tablet secure with an arm and some more thumb screws.

Not a bad design as long as it really does hold it solid. I am currently experimenting with tablet solutions as a replacement for some MDTs for units that don't require full featured MDTs. One of the advantages is that commercial tablet mounts are dirt cheap.

Thanks for the reply - good prices on those mounts. This is moderately secure at the moment, but I have a little cheap mod in mind that should hold the top pretty tightly.

This installation is pretty impressive. If I had a 2010 Mustang I'd be talking to these people:

Thanks for taking a look - it's a work in progress...I haven't fully tested the set up but am thinking just a little piece of velcro at the top or the sides. The project was so easy and inexpensive it was just an idea I wanted to try.
