So from my understanding allot of fire companys in Kennebec county including Augusta use "Tac 280" for fireground communications. Does everyone using tac 280 use there own pl or is it csq for everyone and do other companys outside of Kennebec use the frequency and if so do they use a different pl? I am aware Bangor uses the frequency so some northern towns in Kennebec may not use 280 what do they use?

280 is used CSQ across the state. Cumberland County uses it as their water supply/tanker operations channel.

Also it should be known as VFIRE21 to maintain Interop Uniformity as well as be CSQ for RX - the transmit PL has no impact as long as all radios RX as CSQ aka NO PL
