Oh ok...wasn't sure if you meant Halifax, Hanover, Henrico, Henry, Highland,Hampton, Harrisonburg or Hopewell.

well I'm in Richmond, Va as my profile under my name states but thats ok. I wouldn't be able to listen to those other jurisdictions from here anyway, and Hanover would have been H.S.D.. But thanks for making it clearer for others.

Two things come to mind:

1. The Uniden might have have one of those "hiccups" where traffic from one TG will display the alpha-tag from another ID. (IE: Fire D-1 accidently shows PD WEST or something...)

2. While it's rarely done, the police officers do have the fire/EMS tac's in their radios, and can switch over to them.

Not sure! :D

I've never seen that but I'll keep it in mind. That particular talk group (16412) is not listed in the rr database.....then this investigation is on going to find out what it is......I guess....

I don't think that 16412 is a valid TG number. Sounds like something plus a status bit.
