What many believe to be EAMs are simply radio traffic at routine levels. They might be administrative or routine traffic, training, radio checks, or intel based traffic to alter traffic analysis monitors.

Many in this hobby believe a lot of wrong things.

True EAM ae not "routine" (which has a precise meaning).

Most of the traffic over the EAM paths is exercise stuff, to keep the circuits busy, and make analysis by outsiders more difficult.
