Iam using a pro-96 are then any talk groups active on gladeville that are not TDMA thast I can monitor. I am at 99% but hear nothing from gladeville or any area tower.
I have found a note in RR saying that a PRO-96 can not trunktrack 700 frequencies. If this is still true using ARC-96 programming this may be the problem. Anyone know of a trick?
You can manually set the 700 MHz frequencies as a conventional but the 96 will not "trunk" a system with 700 MHz channels. Mine seemed to do ok on the Nashville Towers site but admit to probably missing some conversations when they added the 700 freqs in.
My 106 does a great job.
The PRO-96 is good on the VHF, and the 800 sites. On the 700 as has been stated, you have to manually scan them, and lock out the CC. Unfortunately, you can not track the 700, or be able to see the TGID's. Also, the 96 can NOT do TDMA.
