Code3kid's listing for site16 shows "Pete's Mt." in Gresham. Undoubtedly Gresham is how it shows in the DB, but it's actually in West Linn (which he rightly lists in Clackamas Co....Gresham is farther North and East in Multnomah Co). This is undoubtedly why I get little or no signal from this site in East Vancouver, when it's right across the river from Gresham.

All of the site names I submitted came directly from a radio codeplug. I cross referenced the site names from the codeplug into google earth to find what counties they were in. Apparently google earth isn't very accurate.

I get Mt Scott and W Hills site well, just not the "Gresham" site which has always frustrated/intrigued me given the geographic location to me. I get some Cowlitz site, but what I don't understand, when I do it's the Vancouver TG not the Kelso??? Why not them? Cannot seem to get the normal VHF dispatch for Kelso any more since Dig either, when they used to always come in when analog. Got it once or twice when they were talking about the Rainier site and testing.

Wasn't being Critical code3kid, just waxing philosophic because of the irony of not understanding the actual location and not getting signal. It used to be that FCC licenses would reflect the closest city to where the site was, which would be south and west of Gresham. But at least this solves the mystery.

Bears, how do you get the Skamania 155 site? I only get it intermittently here in East Vancouver.
