Nice work! Does anyone know where I could find a breakdown of the emission types? It would be nice to look at a list like that and see which ones switched to digital (MotoTRBO etc).

Those would be all the licenses/frequencies that had a change of some sort over the past month.

It would be nice to look at a list like that and see which ones switched to digital (MotoTRBO etc).
It looks like IC uses EM1=16K0F3EJN EM2=16K0F2D-N for TRBO, so I'll have to add an EM2 field to the report.

Also, I'm not currently looking for changes in the emissions fields, so analog-->TRBO changes wouldn't show up. Perhaps a separate changed emissions report would be the best route?


Those would be all the licenses/frequencies that had a change of some sort over the past month.
I only matched records that have the same TX/RX frequencies, licensee name, location text and lat/long; any unmatched records are treated as an addition or deletion.

Other changes (emissions type, ERP, etc.) are ignored.

Hey that's pretty good! If there's one thing I hate, it's trying to work with the TAFL text files... I use some of the handy search engines some people have online, and try to use those to determine new additions, but something that would show deletions as well is awesome!
Now if only I was in Ontario :lol:

very well done, mkes keeping up with local changes a lot easier.

What would be extremly usefull would be a list that includes all the frequency assignments not shown in TAFL.

maybe a wiki type TAFL might be possible where members can add in known but not listed freq (marked as additions) to a "master list".

...and would that not be correct? Showing the changes for the past month?

None of the changes listed for London Fire represent frequency changes (or new frequencies). Everything listed either belongs to one of the 4 EDACS sites, I-Call or I-Tac channels, or county channels. Emission type changes for the upcoming move to P25 perhaps?

Ya London Fire is adding a lot of frequencies
You can also see the WIND MOBILE expansion into Niagara, Port Colborne Fort Erie, Welland,

Pretty cool... as always slicerwizard really comes up with some good stuff on his site.
