Tahoe NF Cross Link

Hey all, i have a quick question, i monitor TNF and i always listen to the VHF-lo Cross Link between Banner Mtn and Mt. Rose. About mid-way through the summer it went quiet, and theres been nothing on it since then. I used to hear everything, Law Enforcement, Fire everything. The frequency was 38.5500.
Any help would be great

Most of the Forest Service links (which were mainly uhf) have been replaced in the last several years with microwave. Are you hearing North Ops from Rose on 415.350? That was a great channel but I have not heard it lately.

I heard the 415.3500 Link once or twice this past summer, also can i pick up microwave? Sorry its a dumb question, but is there a way to pick it up?

No dumb questions that is how we learn. The short answer to picking up the microwave is no.

It seems like the 38.550 frequency has been changed to 415.425 for the Mt. Rose link. Also, the Sardine Peak-Sierraville link was changed from 38.370 to 415.475 a couple years ago.
