My FD near Toledo, OH used a Tait UHF repeater for about 10 years. It needed minimal service and out-performed the RCA repeater it replaced. It was still going stong when I retired...

Tait is a 2-way radio infrastructure/subscriber equipment manufacterer, based in New Zealand. They, imho, make some of the best equipment on the market.

Many local radio distributers offer tait radios, everything from HT's to full TRS's (LTR/Passport). **Licensed Tait Dealers**
