talk groups

Is there a way to search for talk groups other then scrolling thru the list.. I have TG 4836 wrote down but I don't know who it belongs too.

Thanks for the answers to my question on TG'S. I've used RR for a long time but never explored all of its features.

hi i have searched the database for talk groups like 63786 or 65110 where do you find 5 digit tg id's thank you
If I understand correctly, the five digital talk groups in the range you mentioned are dynamic and can change. This means they might be assigned to one talk group one day and a different one the next. I also believe they are related to patching, though I'm not entirely sure how. Perhaps someone with more knowledge of Motorola systems on P25 can clarify.

On a mobile device you can click on three dots in upper right corner of the display that scroll down to find in page after entering the talkgroup number it will take to the right line in database page for the system to show what the talkgroup is.

Any new talkgroups being added to KSICS are being issued in the 6xxxx range. Not sure why but that's what we're seeing lately. Guess maybe they were running out of ID's and decided to start fresh in the bigger numbers.
