Talkgroup 12

For monroe county fire departments, I've been hearing a lot about switching over to "12" or talkgroup 12 for their traffic. Does anyone know what specific talkgroup number that is that they are referring to? i hear it quite frequently, particuarilly on the east side of the county.

my fault that is my department that keeps doing that. when we say to go to 12 that is what our agency specific talk group is in the fire departments radios. like 58 then the fire dept number

my department decided it would be easier to tell each other go to 12 rather than the talkgroup id. also that way if you are in scan you know without looking what they are calling you on................
