talkgroup conversions

ok this may be dumb but i am having a hard time finding how to convert talkgroup numbers into hex fromat. where can i find some info or where can i find a program to do this. i am trying to identify some talkgroups here at home for the database and would like to have all my info correct any help appreciated

Load up the Windows calculator. View/Scientific. Make sure the "Dec" button is selected. Put in the decimal value. Click on "Hex". You'll have the hex value. (Or do it in reverse to convert from hex to decimal.)

If you have access to a Moto Programming list, don't forget it is quite possible the list you look at will have the last 4 bits (nibble) not shown. For example Decimal TG 17536 would equal 0x4480, but might appear on your list as just "448".

thanks to all just needed a little guidance. I NEVER KNEW WINDOW CALCULATOR HAD OPTIONS!! 8) Great help from all you guys are the best. now i can get my scanner and do some work.
