If you mean Erway in Elmira, they are on a DMR Motorola Capacity Plus Multi Site (TRBO) System. I have no knowledge of how to program Whistler scanners so hopefully someone who does will chime in.

Do you have them programmed as conventional or trunk. They should be trunked. The frequencies should be set to Color Code10.

tried putting frequencies in as radio ID as any but get nothing.

You need the TG's as shown above. Here is a short list of Erway RID's:

Just go to the trunked tab and create a new DMR system, make sure system type is DMR and mode is DIGITAL. Then go to Site Details and create/click one site 001 and add in all the frequencies, finally go to Talkgroup Details and add wildcard or the Talkgroups, you might also add a wildcard under RADIO ID DETAILS tab as well.

Please remember the Whistler scanners do not do actual trunk tracking on DMR (and NXDN) they will scan all channels in the site and use the TG and RID to play the traffic.

It appears that Erway Ambulance is not currently using their own licensed frequencies as of current. They are on the Brico system (same tower site as Erway's Horseheads site). Frequencies are: 452.1375, 452.4125, 452.6375, 452.6625, 463.3375, 463.6375, 464.7375. Color Code 10 still the same and Talkgorup ID's are the same for Erway from their system as PaScan stated. This was submitted to RR to be added.

I currently get Erway on one of their frequencies and the 464.7375 BRICO frequency that I posted. Also on that BRICO license is (I believe) Elmira Heights Highway Department. I usually hear them when there is snow to be plowed. I have them as are Color Code 1. There is one TG and about a dozen RID's.

I am on the wrong PC now but if there's any interest I will post them later tonight.

If you could locate that

If you could locate that active Erway frequency that might be helpful. I'm hearing a lot of their activity on the Brico frequency 464.7375.

It should be 463.600. I currently have Erway programmed the way it is in the DB with the addition of 464.7375. While I could dump them all into one folder as has been suggested here, I tend to keep them in folders by license so I'll know which tower I'm picking up. But being south of Wellsburg isn't a very good location.

As far as the 464.7375 on WPNS441 I've been hearing that for a couple of years or more.

This is all one hell of a headache :mad:
If your EZ-Scan database (on your PC) is up to date, simply do a Library Import to add the system.
1642893107160.png
Set the Type as Preferred

On the next screen, choose your state, and select the option for Counties & Cities

1642893242747.png
Select "Next" in the lower right portion of the screen

Choose your county on the next screen, & select Trunked Systems as your data type
1642893413779.png
Once you've done that, again press Next in the lower right corner.
That gets you to a screen showing trunked systems in that county.
1642893553398.png
I've selected the Erway system. In the lower right, again, click the Sites. Just make sure that all of them, or at least the one you want, is selected.

In the lower right is a selection for Talkgroups. Select that to make sure that the ones you want are selected,

1642893807136.png
Once you've verified that you have the sites & talkgroups you want selected, click on "Import Selected Channels"

That takes you to a screen where you can designate which scanlist you want these attached to. Select the scanlist, then click Import Channels to add the system to your programming file.

It appears Erway is not on their own system and is on the Brico system. When I program my SDS100 for the Brico system placing 464.7375 first in the list, it works perfectly. There has been no activity on 463.6000 all day. Not sure why they made the switch from one system to the other but that's apparently what has happened.

I think there may be days where they favor one over the other. Monitoring with both TRX-1 and TRX-2 I'm only getting 464.7375 as well. I'm going to lockout 464.7375 on the TRX-1, set up a scanset for ERWAY, and set all TG's to record. This may explain why the OP was no longer getting them.

I guess i should add this about my scanner also, that it WILL NOT accept anything from the computer via the small USB area on the front.......everything has to be added by the keypad and program menu.

scanner had a fall and the corner by the usb area got damaged and will no longer accept the cord.

I would upload the pictures but files are to large (apparently)

if it also helps im located in chemung county of ny

The best way, and fastest, is with your card reader. Use two cards. I make all my modifications and then swap cards. You need to Format, Copy Folders, and Optimize. You also need to eject the card (with the Windows utility). It also assures that you always have a backup. There are other ways that others on may recommend. Use whatever works best for you. But do some research on it first. N1GAW could give a few pointers as well.

I assumed that when you mentioned ERWAY. There are a number of DMR Trunk systems in Chemung such as Totem Taxi and the Psych Center. to name a couple. And when you get used to your card reader you can use the EZ SCAN audio utility such as this:
