BCD325P2/BCD996P2: talkgroup lockout

Greetings, trying to program the BCD325P2 for a friend...it is scanning just fine, the problem is some of the talkgroups it picks up are things he doesn't want, such as road crews, school buses......I've worked on many Radio Shack scanners and understand them, this is my first attempt on a Uniden....how do I lockout unwanted talkgroups when they pop up?

Remove those TG’s you don’t want.

how do I lockout unwanted talkgroups when they pop up?

The easiest way is to quickly hit L/O twice, which is a permanent Lockout as @RandyKuff pointed you to above.

Another way is to use "Quick Keys" to turn off certain groups.
