My Childersburg scanner had been down since Sunday morning due to no electricity. Power was restored today and so far I have heard power crews working on lines and transformers on:
  • 49.5000 - Pike Electric
  • 151.5125 - Unidentified crew
  • 151.6250 - Unidentified crew
  • 151.7000 - Unidentified crew
  • 469.5500 - Unidentified crew
I am scanning all the itinerant frequencies. Any other suggestions?

462.6625 - Unidentified crew discussing line heights, raising and lowering lines. If this is an electrical contractor, I'm surprised they would be so cheap as to use FRS radios for safety sensitive work.

Cause they are using them as line of sight intercoms basically. Only time you need intrinsically safe radios is for hazardous gasses.
