Tampa F. R. TG 10-016 used by TPD.

I've been noticing for the last few months but never really thought anything of it that on the above talk group I've been hearing a lot of TPD activity especially as related to aviation units coordinating with units on the ground. Listening to it sounds like it's maybe a TPD citywide type channel now. Anybody else noticed this? Maybe it's time to rename this in the database.

10-016 has been TPD "City-Wide" for a few years now.

i sometimes hear police on this channel, usually at night and ive heard the term citywide used by them here, i was thinking this was the "citywide" channel

Yes, I don't remember ever hearing any FD traffic there. At one point they may have used it.
