Now Tampa Fire Rescue/EMS are now on Hillsborough County Public Safety 11-061 as a Tampa FR F1 Dispatch. No other information on F2 F3 F4 and F5

Thanks for posting. Nice first post, I might add.

This is TGID 1457 for those of us that prefer decimal. Showing up with patch TGID 2030. First time I've ever heard both sides at my location. Wonder if this TG is permanent?

Units were switched to F2 for a call - nothing came up on the TRS.

This is a step in the right direction. Listening to Tampa FD has always sucked.

Does that mean that they are using F3 as a fire ground TG? I've been looking on some of the above mentioned TG's when I hear a incident dispatched that would seem to be big enough or involved enough to warrant the use of a fire ground channel but nothing yet. Anyone have anything further?

They were on the TRS earlier, but not now as of 3:50am. I've noticed they stop operating on the system late night to early mornings every now and then. Probably a good sign they are nowhere close to switching over to the TRS full time. Even when they're patched over, some of the units are still using the old radios, which sound terrible.

I was listening to 11-061 for most of the day, stopped around 8pm.

I hear them on VHF not TRS. Can you talk to your friend in Tampa fire and see what happen to it?

They were on the TRS yesterday afternoon but I personally haven't heard them on it since. But I did hear one unit key up last night on the TRS and dispatch said to use the old radio.

They are probably doing some work on the system. Same thing happened to TPD for months as they switched over.

Freq2 has never been patched to the system, just 1, 3, and 4.
