I am traveling to the Tampa area and as I was loading the db info for the Hillsborough County EDACS system, I noticed that there are no Tampa PD Tac or car to car talkgroups listed. Do they use the InterCounty East/West Tac's for car to car?

Thanks

There are C2C talkgroups for each sector, but they are ProVoice, which means they cannot be monitored by any scanner on the market.

Ditto. Tampa PD handles all calls on their primary channels even when crap hits the fan. If the air is held and other units need to voice routine traffic they will use another dispatch channel. The only tac channel they use is for TRT (SWAT), and it's encrypted. C2C talkgroups aren't used often and usually when two units need to chat for bit, not for hot calls. ROC (plainclothes) talkgroups are also Provoice.

Any ideas what the talkgroups are for the ROC units? I understand they're Provoice but I am experimenting with DSD. Any info app. TIA, TT.
