TAN CHP channel silent?

I've noticed in the past few weeks during my morning commute on the 78 the TAN CHP channel (39.80) has gone quiet. The past several months I used to be able to hear them all the time. Now for some reason the channel seems to have gone silent. I can hear them fine at night from my house in Escondido.
Anybody with the same experience?

I am getting the same thing during the day I recieve "Dorder testing on the tan 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,.....test complete WPM449" get the testing recording so how is san diego talkingwith there units are they using the blue channels or the 800mhz like el cajon ?

They are using Border Blue-1 39.14 PL162.2 while Tan is being reworked.

Avtarsingh, any simulcast work being done or scheduled for OC 's Green, Grey, or Purple by chance?

They had been using the Tan-1 again and it sounded pretty good to me but they are back on the Blue-1. I just heard the dispatcher tell a unit that they would be using Blue-1 until the Tan was realigned.

The techs are having a hard time getting the simulcast adjusted correctly for Tan-1. I hear a lot of distortion. When I can understand it, I hear complaints from the dispatchers and mobiles indicating they are hearing the same thing. The other night I heard the dispatcher finally give up trying to give call details to a mobile and state that she would send the details to his MDT.
