No, meaning it is going to attract discussion that will equate the movement of agencies to unmonitorable communications solutions to the existence of live feeds, which will ultimately get the thread locked.Meaning what that my post don't matter?
They've been a member for 4 years, but only have 3 posts, 2 of those in this thread. Perhaps they missed those "years" by not being that active. Everybody was new once.So besides maybe an attempt at a marketing plug on a community that has known about "that technology" for years, I don't see what else you expected your post to achieve.
IP based radio is already here, you just don't know it. Motorola Wave 5000 is another for example. In many cases, as long as there is a traditional radio user, you'll hear the radio traffic. Some of it just may originate from an IP based radio, versus traditional conventional or trunked radio system. Now if all radios were IP based, you wouldn't hear it.
