Tanker fire on I-74 westbound at the 105 Mile marker. Shelby County Fire on scene of a working semi tanker fire. Both eastbound and westbound I-74 near the fire are closed to traffic. ISP calling for INDOT.Pavement has melted at the accident scene.possible 10-0 death at scene.Smoke from the fire could be seen on the Northwest Side of Indianapolis near 71 Street and Michigan Road from the southeast.Radio traffic is on safe-t talkgroup 4192 ISP 52 DSP. Update at 8:32PM Thursday 10-11-12. IDEM is on the scene of the crash for clean-up.IDEM is very worried over the chemical that was left over after the accident and fire. IDEM has booms in the creek and said that the chemical could go into the ground and could get into wells for drinking water in the local area.
