Taylorsville PD

The Taylorsville Police Department will start operations on July 1st. This week the new officers are training at SLCC and preparing to be sworn in on June 21st. With these changes all coming in place in the next few weeks it will be time to determine what TGs they will actually use for the new department. Some of these could be active now for the traning. If anyone has any info post it and once confirmed let's get it into the dB.

b-Taylorsville units are designated TANGO-xx?

Yeah, I think that's about right. They also currently share a C2C TG with draper. I am thinking though they are going to get their own dedicated TGs once they officially become an active department on July 1st.

Search and Analysis mode has been engaged. Target,,, Taylorsville.

Before July 1, 2012, Taylorsville PD was not part of Unified Police.
And they had their own Talk Group 22912.
Here is a pic of an original TVPD car.
That Talk Group is now listed in RRDB as Taylorsville Car.

Well, Tomorrow the hunt will be really on.

Two things I have observed recently.
1. Unitrunker,on 7202 System, TG 31616 shows first active 2021.06.23.
At 0400 on July 1 it had 997 hits. At 2030 it has 1375 hits.
But I have not observed it on my scanner. Any ideas?
2. The UPD Special Services TG 288 is still quite active.
That is the TG that I have seen Taylorsville use while they were part of UPD.

I added a 2-chirp alert to the 31616 TG.
Getting activity now.
Update if I hear any clues.

Update:
From the context of the traffic I am hearing,
we should cease all further online discussions
about this newly discovered TG.

So has anyone determined which TG Taylorsville PD is being dispatched on or is paired up with?
Or has there been any changes in paired dispatch TG's since Tville left UPD?

Based on monitoring tonight it seems to still be:

TG 288 Unified Police Taylorsville/Special Services

I don't hear Tango callsigns anymore.
What I now hear being used is "Taylorsville"
