Absolutely not. Uniden came up with the crazy idea of combining the HP-1 and the x96 series of scanners together. They are the x36HP scanners. There are multiple problems, lack of the firmware updates promised for March, plus many other problems. I would personally wait to see what Whistler comes up with the new versions of the GRE/RS scanners. Macon/Bibb has no X2, or TDMA TGID's. They are still normal digital.

According to UPMan, the Uniden Product Manager, the HP-1 didn't have the hardware to support firmware updates to decode Phase II P-25.
