Hi,

I'm trying to have fun with local edacs system using gnuradio (I love unitrunker but I'm more of mac user) and I've encountered a problem - how to recover LID (source ID in unitrunker) from edacs packet? I have no problem with frame sync and recovering lcn and afs numbers - but where is LID hidden?

Regards,

K.

Thank you,

but I think that is to expensive to pay $170 just for fun. Or it is not? :)

Is this what you're looking for?

Code:
GROUP_CALL_GRANT:

// frame0: 0dpvvRRRRRRlllllmggggggggggg
// frame1: 0dprrrrrrrrlllllmggggggggggg
//
//              d = digital flag
//              p = priority/emergency flag (not inverted)
//             vv = level (1 to 4?)
// RRRRRR = RID high bits
// rrrrrrrr = RID low bits
//          lllll = LCN
//              m = mode
//    ggggggggggg = TG

If you're serious about this stuff like me, then no.

However, if you're on a budget, try your local library - city, college, or university. They may have this and other TIA publications for checkout.

Yes, thank you. The offsets are little different but it's something like that.

OK, I did it - my edacs scanner using only one dongle for ctrl and data channel is running quite well.
