From: Wildfire Burning Near Divide Now 100% Contained / Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Southern Colorado, Breaking News, News, Weather, School Closings, Traffic from KKTV 11 News

A small wildfire burning near Divide, in Teller County is 100% contained. Fire officials say it burned about 10 acres in the Manchester Creek drainage.

No buildings or homes were threatened. Authorities say the closest home is about two miles away.

The fire sparked around 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon, north of Divide, near county roads 357 and 355. Seven agencies including Teller County, Divide, Green Mountain Falls, Florissant, and the U.S. Forest Service battled the blaze.

A single-engine tanker made one drop.

Penny Brandt and her husband saw the smoke from Woodland Park, they rushed to Divide fearful that their nearby cabin would be in danger.

"Learned that it was about a half mile from our cabin, it has been very windy and we were concerned about how fast it could move," Brandt said.

Crews are still on scene mopping up the fire and will remain on scene overnight to monitor hot spots.

Still no word yet on what caused the blaze.
