Telphone pole arching on Palisades Parkway

I picked up this message on 160.125 her in Middletown CT using the telescoping whip from RS at its smallest size.

Did I pick up NY/NJ or is ther a Palisades Parkway in CT.

That is licensed to Middletown CT FD and repeats 46.18 You are hearing NY state units via the cross patch

The Palisades Interstate Parkway also runs through Rockland County, New York. The frequency of 46.18 is 44 Control, the main fire dispatch for RC. That might explain the skip, Chuck.
