Is there anyone out there who knows anything about TELVENT systems in Burnsville? It turns out I've been driving by one of their office/plants for over two years now and I only drove down their road this week to see what the radar dome was for.
When I got near them I saw several large (some of them larger that 35 feet in diameter) satellite dishes on the ground, plus the radar dome on the tower.
The information I can find with a cursory search suggests that they have something to do with private weather monitoring, as well as pipeline monitoring.
Any word on what else they might do and what frequencies I could listen to when I get near there again?
(I took a couple pictures from the road but I didn't want to get too cocky... I was affraid plant security might come and get me or something; unfortunately it was dark and none of the pictures turned out at all.)
