Tennelec MCP-1 Not powering up

My grandparents Gave me this scanner to fix After we pulled it off the shelf, It was sitting up there for a few years and when it was put up it worked fine. When we took it down its was sticky everywhere and when it was plugged in wouldn't power up, it just started smelling bad and smoked. Anyway Got it home pulled it apart and found a 10Ohm 10% resistor smoking. None of the caps are bulged or leaking or no other indicators
