I live in Anderson county and find that trying to listen in on a "full" THP conversation is sometimes more hassle than its worth. That low band frequency is hard to pull in without a good antenna, and 90% of what they do is work wrecks and assist motorists on the interstates. I think N4YEK has the best advice of using 72.58 and 42.56 for your area. I cant wait until they switch over to a 700-800 system.

I have been hearing District 7 base on 42.42 and the cars on 42.26 in the Columbia area. Also getting the cars on 452.450 here in the Maury County area.It seems to cover the Columbia south area and also I am hearing 452.275 but not sure which area it is covering yet. I also get 42.56 as the car to car frequency.

The 452.450 relay/repeater is located in Lewisburg. THP was using 452.275 in Murfreesboro, but it has been "dead" for several months now; think they switched to microwave. What are the car numbers you are hearing on 452.275? Lawrenceburg cars start with the number "7", Nashville "3", and the Jackson district start with "8".
