The antenna's high gain and very narrow beamwidths enables long range connections. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically for the best connection. It's a 15dBi yagi antenna with 28degree horizontal/vertical beam-width. Fine tuned to 800-900Mhz range. I testing it at ground level now, this thing really pulls it in.
Testing it on a RTL-SDR with DSDplus fastlane for Digital p25 APCO phase 2.. So I can see the signal strength in real time graphs. I put it on a spinner base, so I can manually fine tune it with fast results. I just point it at the simulcast tower I want.. Great Antenna for digital around 800mhz! Can't wait to elevate it.
