Terror Excerise planned for Midvale

Just read this in my West Valley Journal newspaper. Was able to locate the article online. Sounds like we will have some unique monitoring that day.

....This dramatic event will be the start of a three-day exercise involving local emergency response teams, the National Guard from three states and other state and federal agencies. The exercise will begin with the mock city council meeting in Midvale and be extended to eight other locations in the Salt Lake metro area.....

Drill Now fully under way. Main OPs are on VECC OPS 1, Midvale PD, VECC FD 2, Calling Multiple Agency Response, Bomb Squad, FBI, Homeland Security.

So far very active with SWAT comms and also Fire. Main OPS still on VECC OPS 1. Fire is on VECC FD 3 and using VECC FD 5 for regular (real world) midvale calls.

SWAT took out the suspect and removed hostages. they have cleared their part of the ops. VECC FD 3 now the active channel for HazMat/Bomb tech ops

They are continuing today and are currently at Rocky Mountain Raceway on Fire TAC 7 (TG: 21376)

Yeah, I think they still have VECC FD 3 restricted as well, I have seen midvale responding on VECC FD 5 still.
