Just for the record: many current malware scanners and trackers (like Disconnect) consider that website linked in the first post above to be malicious in nature so, be wary of visiting that one even in spite of what it tries to portray itself as.

Technically they classify that site as "malvertising" or malicious advertising meant to imply one thing while actually resulting in something else which is an all too frequent problem these days.

Also, the site in the link is not Panopticlick from the EFF, that can be found here: https://panopticlick.eff.org/

I'm surprised anyone would knowingly install 10 (and probably 11, but haven;t checked), after reading even just pars of the 12,000 word privacy agreement. I love this part:

Included in Microsoft's new 12,000-word service agreement, which goes into effect August 1, is the following excerpt from the privacy policy:

"We will access, disclose and preserve personal data, including your content (such as the content of your emails, other private communications or files in private folders), when we have a good faith belief that doing so is necessary to."

Oh, BTW, MS now admits that once downloaded, it cannot be stopped. Don't you just love it. And they are forcing it on Win 7 & 8 users:

except he is talking about IE 10 and 11, there is no Windows 11 yet.

i only keep default versions of IE 11 if a site ABSOLUTELY needs it. Chrome and FF are my go to browsers

who is dumb again?

clicking on a malvertising site, which i checked through a sandbox firewall, has TONS of problems in itself.

is NOT the original site either. id check your computer Dude111.
