I'm testing a new configuration for providing live feeds. If you get a chance, test it out for me. If it goes well, I will have it hosted on a server when events or storms hit my area. Tonight is Okaloosa and Santa Rosa Counties.

You can check it out tonight with Windows Media Player. Copy and paste the URL.

What you may have to do is open Media Player. Then File / Open URL and past the link I listed. Clicking on my link will not work. See if that works.

Hi Dan,

That's the first time I've ever tested a stream with comm I can listen to locally. Sounds good. That's a pretty heavy bit rate you're pushing though at 273 Kbps for video and audio. You could also drop from stereo to mono unless you're going to run separate left and right channels.

I've tinkered with Windows Media Encoder here a few times and it's fun to use.

Thanks for the feedback Dan. I'm still learning how to use Windows Media Encoder. I figured I try something different.

Feed sounds great but yah might want to lower that bit rate lol. A 15 or less bit rate is plenty fine for audio only. Keep up the good work.
