dispatch is too strong a word.. Johnson Controls had the contract to manage the daily operations - like collecting landing fees from visiting planes and assisting in general security to the FBO's(the Police would "over see police stuff) they have staff at the 'airport managers" office manned the truck when needed and if a staff was out in a mobile they would call them in they were using UHF business freq's the trucks have VHF for local FD's 154.16 154.28 or at tleast they did - years ago they used to do a sunday am radio test with the county so - there was never a paging freq
Since its run by the Port Authority, I thought they did all policing and ARFF dispatching. I seem to remember seeing a thread awhile ago stating that the Teterboro PAPD units operated on the Newark Patrol talkgroup of the PAPD TRS. Perhaps Fire & Rescue is the same.
Teterboro is on the PAPD TRS for all police related comms. They don't say much, so you really have to listen.

I'm being told both are dispatched from "Newark" base on the same talk groups as EWR.

That is correct. Historically i always heard them use "teterboro 1" and 2 on the radio, being called by "newark" on the ewr talkgroup.
