Anyone have any information on this system? I was in the area this weekend and found a 400 MHz TRS with 410.000 and 408.250 as control channels. Max signal was near the FCI. I was not able to get a good lock on the 396 (I didn't get the SID # either). However, it does appear that this is a digital (probably p-25) system. The Pro-97 would display talkgroups, but would not give up audio. The raw data sounded like p-25? I didn't see any information in the database for this system.

If the Pro97 displayed talkgroup IDs, then it is not a P25 standard system, but probably a 3600 baud mixed mode system. The Pro97 can't read a 9600 baud (true P25) control channel. A lot of the FCI systems that I have monitored have had an analog control channel with all digital talkgroups. This one probably follows that format.

haven't ever scanned those freq's in Texarkana, but I will be up that way either this weekend or next and will enter those frequencies and see if I can get the SID # and hear anything

was in Texarkana today and the control channel on 408.2500 was still active, but my PSR-500 didn't stop on 410.0000 for another CC in scan mode. Set up the system with the 408.2500 as the CC and scanned for at least 30-40 minutes before I had to leave town and no TGIDs came up on group or private wildcards. Locked on the 408.2500 my PSR-500 was showing SID: 9318 S--
