Check out region 1 Garland, you’ll see the towers they operate off in NE TX. They also use TxWARN 700/800 MHz in many areas too.

Texarkana and Bowie County are using GATRRS. There are several DPS TGIDs on it. Unknown if they are using them in the Texarkana area. I do occasionally hear the Tyler units when they get far enough west on. I-20 to affiliate with the Kaufman County TXWARN site.

Texarkana's P25 system was migrated to the City of Austin's core and since DPS tends to run 13E when they can...I would imaging they are running that in Texarkana.

The GATRRS system, the hexadecimal system ID is 13E, WACN is BEE09.

Ahhhh. I hear DPS a fair amount on the Austin simulcast. Haven't heard them on the Wilco simulcast yet.

Texarkana and Tyler are both region 1 but two separate communications centers serving two deferent areas. Texarkana repeats off Sulphur Springs, Marshal and Paris. Tyler only repeats with Canton. Tyler is also on TXWARN. While Texarkana itself is on GAATRS Texas DPS really use the VHF the majority of the time, I'm sure the VHF is patched to the TRS but I wouldn't rely on the TRS exclusively.
