I'm in SPI right now, catching some of the new CBP/ICE freqs down here. A lot of encryption on the P25 side (1/2 clear, 1/2 enx), also still hearing some DES on 169.4500 in analog. When I get back home I'll post what I've caught.
Also, travelling down here yesterday I pulled up next to a truck at a stop light near Kingsville (heading south). The unmarked vehicle had a small VHF antenna on the roof (that's what caught my eye), and a K9 cage in the back seat. Driving was an OBP agent and as he pulled away from me (hauling ***), I noticed his back window had a small note written on it in (in grease pen):
P25
X
I assumed this was a note to all drivers of this vehicle that this truck had not been equipped with a P25 radio yet.
