hello to all does anyone know what texas motor speedway uses i saw a post some where that said the city it was in used a trs for city communicatios any help would be apprec.

TMS is in Denton County but is in the city of Fort Worth.
Most of the activity will probably be on the Fort Worth public safety
trunked system

City communications for what exactly? When ther is activity at the track I always hear alot of communications on Denton County's system.

In that area the City of Northlake, Roanoke(sp), Ft Worth, Denton SO, Tarrant SO, and City of Keller can all be seen during a race. North of the speedway on 35w Flowermound is usually set up policing traffic in their area as well.

They say everything in Texas is bigger, and the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort
Worth is no exception. The quad-oval track was completed in 1996 and
seats 159,585.
Texas Motor Speedway is home to Tent City - two designated areas for campers
and buses. Reserved camping sites are available in various sizes and are priced
according to size. Unreserved spaces are on a first come basis with a set fee of
$50 per site. Racing is not the only thing on the track at the Texas Motor Speedway.
