Text Tags

I"m having trouble with text tags on the Pro 2096 and the Pro 2055. I would like to learn how to get them to work because I'm getting a new scanner for my mom's and would like to use text tags for her. Anybody lives near garrett that could show me would be great. Well pay them for there time.

If you would be a bit more specific, probably someone could just tell you what you need to know. I mean, you program the Text Tag in and that is it. It shows up when the frequency or TG is active. What is to understand?

with both a Pro96 and a 2096 it would sure make your life easy if you got WIN86. On the right side of the page there is a column for text tags.

i put the tgs in and they are not showing up. I understand most things about scanners this one is throwing me a loop.

where do you find Win 86. I don't think I find it at Radio Shack
