Between the bennion fire and the bear canyon fire this is the frequencies being used

One of the air to ground frequencies doing retardant drops is 167.950
Also another frequency is 170.450 pl 123.0
406.5875 old seeley helibase frequency used a few years ago

Moab fire center 172.675

This is what is being used so far, I am kind of distant from the fires so I can't hear everything but this is some of the communication frequencies they are using

enosjones - When you listen to the aircraft from a distance - would you say the FM channels come in better than the AM channels? Or do they sound the same? Or is AM better than FM? Can you notice any difference?
