Tg 10551

I'm hearing an encrypted TG off of the Auraria site (765.45625) this AM. Looking through the DB, it doesn't fall near any known series of TG's. Considering that it's coming off the downtown site, I can't help but wonder if this is a TG for use during the DNC by some federal alphabet soup group. (Radio ID's were 960117 and 960118).

edit: I'm also getting TG 10558 encrypted off of the same tower. Radio ID's of 960202, 960205 & 960208. I'm sure there are others.

Criag, We have been receiving similiar encrypted traffic on the following TG's over the last few weeks and believe Luke even has a few more TG's. Believe it's all about Obama!!

Wow. Guess there are a lot of agencies that feel the need to be super-secret. I would assume that Secret Service would use their own comms system, as has been the case in past VIP visits? So, any idea what agencies might be on the DTRS?

Us, but dont plan on hearing anything...it'll be encrypt.

I would bet they are simply mutual aid tg's, possibly even temporary ones just for the DNC, since there will be so many agencies helping, so they don't tie up the existing MAC TG's.

I doubt the Secret service will be using them, and I can confirm that even the testing on these has been encrypted, so we might never know who all is going to use them.
