Been listening off and on to these guys talk as they were hauling water somewhere and having problems with the pump on the truck. Then I found this story in the Tribune about Woodland Hills loosing a pump @ a well and Salem helpping them out.
Looking at the DB we have a TGID for Salem Fire but nothing for Woodland Hills. In most cities the Fire Departments are the only ones that any kind of equipment to carry water. Unfortunatly there were no callsigns only names. Another reason I am think FD is that the pump problems on the truck seemed to clear up when they shut the truck completely off and then restarted it "including the computer" {their words} Do not know enough about new fire trucks to be dangerous. All the old stuff, including just plain old water trucks, run the pump using a PTO.
Of course there is the possibility it's one of their Public Works departments too.
