I have received only 1 hit with Unitrunker -- Sh/be Summit Co somethingorother....

Not on GLDAVIS or ROLFMAN's GID lists

Not on RR DBase either

Duplicate thread

My Dusty list of Old TGs shows 48128 was, at one time anyway, Summit Co. Fire Tac-2.

This is also a duplicate thread - see here. This is why we need to run a search BEFORE starting ANY thread on unknown TGs. This TGID has been discussed!

Yep, I remember posting to it.... I probably shouldn't have started over... But in my mind, that's what was needed. In retrospect I should have stayed on the original....

I guess the reason I started fresh, is that TG 48192 is also id'd as Summit Co Fire Tac 2. Which seems to fit, being next to TG 48160 which is Tac 1.
So while we were all set to update the DB, something is wrong here...

Well, hold on, I may have jumped the gun. The TG (48192) we were discussing when this TG (48128) came up was different. I questioned whether the other TG was Summit FD Tac-2 since AB7ST and I both had a different TG showing for Summit FD Tac-2.

So now we have two TGs (48192 & 48128) claiming to be Summit Co. Fire Tac-2 and this is NOT a duplicate.

I owe you an apology AB7ST. Let this thread stand, but we need to find out which of those two threads is Summit Co. Fire Tac-2.

EDIT: I need to have my coffee before I start throwing about accusations. Bneilson has gone ahead, at my urging, and submitted TG 48192 as Summit Fire Tac-2. So now we need to be alert to see if it does come up that way. Since you, AB7ST, are local to that area, you are in a better position to verify. Time will tell.

I still believe Bneilson's DB submittal is correct. I have heard this TG many times, and it corresponds to Summit Co Fire Dispatch xmissions.

I heard TG 48288 this morning, which prompted my post. They ID'd as "TAC 2" -- so that part is right. My thinking at the moment is that it could be Park City Fire TAC 2 -- Since there are both City and County FD functions dispatched by the common Summit Co Fire Dispatch.

Since it has so low activity, this could take me a while.
