I can't find TG# 53664 in the Safe-T database, just want to know what it is, it popped up last night. Just curious.

Must be a fluke. There's animal control in Monroe and EMS in Owen - those are the only two even close to that TGID.

Did you hear it or just find the ID had been logged?

Well I first thought it would belong to Greene Co, but after further review I see the next tg to be assigned went to Owen co 53648. The tg 53664 is a tg that was added after the fact. I would just keep listening. It could belong to any county. Usually when a county goes on they assign a certain amount of tg's and label them. That's it. Whatever they give you is what you have. Now down the line as countys ask for more tg's the next tg's in line are usually assigned. When the system first went online in Johnson County they had about 15 analog and 15 Digital tg's that were left open for further expansion. After all the countys started getting them assigned that kinda went away. You just get what you get now. Long story short that tg could be assigned to anyone now. Just keep listening and post what you hear.

I heard 2 officers talking about switching from one channel to another as they got closer to southern Indiana, They talked like they were from Indy. They also talked about using the normal dispatch channel once they got to where they were going. I stored the TG# when it came up(Pro-96) by pressing the trunk key.

I figuted out what it was, Crawford County Sheriff's Office Dispatch, they very recently went on the Safe-T system. That TG# was very active last night, they were asking Harrison County for backup, for a possible home invasion.

That's interesting... wonder where they got the money for it. Or maybe they just have a few portables and radios like all the other counties in the South. (For those that don't know, Crawford County is one of the poorest counties in the State) Maybe they got some Orange County Casino money?

Also, look for New Albany City FD to go onto Safe-t, recently got a grant for radios and equipment, and I can't see them going back to their LTR system.
